HSS Engineers is principally involved in the provision of engineering and project management services including engineering design, construction supervision, project management, environmental services and building information modeling services. The Group possesses longstanding experience in a wide array of sectors including urban infrastructure, transportation planning, roads and highways, railways and metro systems, water resources and supply, waste management, building and structures and power generation. As one of the leading and by far the largest listed engineering consultancy group in Malaysia, the Group has been involved in many notable large-scale projects in Malaysia.
The Requirement
To effectively communicate the services provided by HSS Engineers to the general public (as the company was going to be listed on the Bursa Stock Exchange), the company wanted to develop a series of videos. The project included the development of a corporate video for the IPO as well as a series of videos to showcase the projects completed by each of its divisions. Neon was brought in to provide video production consultancy and execution of all the videos. The in-house team of Neon worked with the representatives of HSS on a tight timeline to conduct aerial shoots, ground shoots, and develop the concept and script for each of the videos.
The Result
The videos were released simultaneously on social media and also shared with the investors of the company including the institutional investors. The videos got a very high engagement rate and resulted in easier understanding of its services thereby helping them to generate high interest in the company from all quarters. The IPO was successfully completed and oversubscribed. Â
