It develops, manufactures and markets a broad range of hand and arm protection solutions and hospital clothing. It also offers medical gloves and healthcare and industrial safety solutions. Ansell offers its products to healthcare professionals, patients, industrial workers and consumers. The company conducts research to develop innovative products. It has manufacturing and packaging facilities in Mexico, Brazil, Portugal, Malaysia, China, Lithuania, Russia, Thailand, Sri Lanka and Vietnam. The company has operations in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, the Caribbean and Asia Pacific. Ansell is headquartered in Richmond, Victoria, Australia.
Being a B2B company, the company’s sales efforts are directed towards the decision makers and purchasers. However, to get the buy-in from the end users, Ansell needed to convey their product features and benefits as well as their quality and safety parameters to the end users. Using videos to reach out to the end users was identified as the most effective and cost-effective way.
The company wanted to create multiple product explainer videos using 3D and 2D animation to show the features in-built into their products, targeted towards the end users. Being a global organization Ansell needed to create the videos in multiple languages and also meet the legal & regulatory requirements of each country.
Neon with its inhouse team of video producers, designers and animators were brought in to execute the videos for Ansell. We developed a series of explainer videos using 2D and 3D amination, video editing and motion graphics. The video voiceovers were translated into multiple languages from Europe & Asia (more than 17 languages) as well as adapted individually to meet local regulatory requirements.
The videos have become a key sales and marketing tool for Ansell to promote to the end users through online & offline mediums. By dubbing of the master videos in local languages, it has helped Ansell reach out to the end-users in their own language. Since the 3D videos can exhibit the inner engineering of the products, it helped the viewer to fully understand the features of the product leading to better customer satisfaction and re-purchase.
